At BDRanch, we provide a very limited number of full-service board stalls at our family-run facility. This Includes hay twice a day at minimum - and our goal is 24/7 forage access with round bales and in spring/summer/fall and on pastures when possible.). We offer nearly full turnout, stalling only to feed or when there is additional need, as well as AM/PM feeding (12% Producer's Pride grain provided; boarders may bring own measured grain/supplements if preferred), twice daily filled troughs, and experienced watchful barn owners on premises. We let horses be horses and have a mixed herd of geldings and mares, old and young. Electric rope fencing lines our main pastures, and we have a 60x70 indoor riding arena for exercising horses even through the winter months. Small heated tack room with saddle racks and storage loft space is also included. We love to include our boarded horses in our kids programs, including basic lead-line lessons and our summer Ranch Camp. We are not a show-barn; we are a 4H family focused on teaching kids how to just be around horses, basics of horse care and ownership, and we love to share that with others, as reflected in our motto: "Love God, Love Others, Love Horses."
